What actually makes a connection “business”.

On the NBN access network, business and residential plans run over the same infrastructure. What makes a connection genuinely “business” isn’t the label on the invoice — it’s the fault response, the support escalation path, the static IP and network options around it, and how quickly someone responds when something breaks. Done badly, you get a residential experience with a business price. Done properly, the connection fits how your business actually works.

What “business NBN” often isn’t

From most providers, a business NBN plan is a residential connection with a different invoice. Same support queue. Same modem-and-walk-away. The “business” part is the price.

What it should be

Enhanced fault SLA (4-hour restore options), business-hours support that escalates to engineers, static IP available, and a network designed around your sites — not a generic plan dropped on you.

When you need more than NBN

For sites where downtime or slow patches aren’t an option — clinics, finance, manufacturing, multi-site — Business Fibre and Dedicated Ethernet are the upgrade path. Symmetric speeds, higher fault priority, and on Dedicated Ethernet, no public-internet contention in the path.

What you actually get with us.

Not slogans. The specific things that change when Nehos is your provider.

Senior expertise when it gets complicated

First-line support handles the everyday stuff. When a problem gets technical, it goes straight to a senior engineer who understands the network at an advanced level and can actually diagnose it — not a scripted queue passing you along.

Australian-owned, Brisbane-based

Nehos is owned and operated from Brisbane. Your account is managed here in Australia — not routed to an offshore call centre.

On-site support, Australia-wide

We’re Brisbane-based, with a national network of field agents. When a site needs hands on the ground — move day, a fitout, a fault we can’t clear remotely — we arrange on-site attendance wherever you are.

Our own voice platform, multiple data carriers

We run our own voice platform end-to-end, and our broadband draws on wholesale relationships with multiple tier-1 Australian carriers — so we can match the right network to your site instead of being locked to a single supplier.

23 years operating

Established 2003. Many of our customers have been with us 5, 10, 20+ years. You’re not the experiment.

Built around your business

We don’t sell four boxes off a shelf. Simple sites or complex multi-site — we look at what you’ve got and design what fits. The first conversation is a conversation, not a quote engine.

Simple sites or fully designed networks — we build to fit.

A single-site office that needs internet and a router shipped to the door. A multi-site business that needs VPN, failover, and cloud breakout. We do both — and the bits between. We design with you, not at you. No upselling complexity you don’t need. Highly competitive on price.

What we can do — pick what you need

  • Single-site internet — modem configured and shipped
  • Static IPs (single, /30, /29, /28 subnets)
  • Router and firewall selection, sizing, configuration
  • Site-to-site VPN (IPsec, WireGuard, GRE)
  • Multi-site mesh and SD-WAN
  • Cloud breakout (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Dual-carrier redundancy and failover
  • VLAN segmentation, QoS, traffic shaping
  • Network monitoring with alerting

How we work

  • Start with what you’ve got and what you actually use
  • Recommend only the bits that earn their place
  • You keep your existing router if it carries the load
  • Highly competitive on price — send us a competing quote and we’ll come back with a number that stacks up
  • Fully managed by us, or BYO equipment and we configure — your call
  • One provider for voice + data + AI when you want consolidation, separate where it makes sense

What you usually get vs what you get with us.

Most providers in this market do one or two of these things. We do all of them.

Side-by-side built from what business customers tell us when they switch. We’re happy to walk through it line by line on a call.

One provider for voice, data, and AI.

Bundling broadband with our CloudPBX voice (and AI voice agents if you need them) costs less than running them as three separate vendors — and it removes the three-way finger-point when something breaks. One provider. One bill. One number to call.

Broadband + CloudPBX

Voice runs on our own platform, separate from your data path so they don’t compete for bandwidth. Bundle pricing applied to the combined service, not a discount tacked on top.

Add AI Voice

Nehos AI Voice handles inbound or outbound calls — receptionist, booking, qualification, callbacks. Sits on the same provider relationship. Learn more →

One bill, one support team

Bills consolidated. Support consolidated. When something goes wrong, you don’t run a war room between three vendors. You ring us.

The right connection for your site.

We qualify your address inside the portal once you sign up, then come back with what’s actually available. The four options:

Business NBN

NBN access with business support hours, Enhanced SLA options (4-hour fault restore available), and static IP available. Speeds from 50 Mbps up to 1 Gbps depending on the technology at your address.

Business Fibre

Symmetric fibre — same speed up and down. 250 Mbps to 1 Gbps. 99.95% SLA with 4-hour fault restoration. Higher reliability and faster fault response than NBN.

Dedicated Ethernet

Point-to-point fibre between your sites, or directly into a datacentre. Priority-queued — no public-internet contention in the path. Metro, regional, or national. Custom speeds.

Fixed Wireless & Backup

Secondary path for sites where uptime matters more than headline speed. 4G/5G failover, fixed wireless, or a second carrier for genuine redundancy.

Four steps to a tailored quote.

No address checker on this page. The portal does that properly once you’re in.

1

Sign up — free

Two minutes. Tells us who you are. No payment details, no contract.

2

We qualify your address

Log in and run the Broadband check. We pull live data — every NBN technology, fibre footprint, ethernet build options, fixed wireless coverage at your site.

3

Engineered proposal

Speed, technology, hardware, install timeline, and any network design you need around it. Within one business day for NBN.

4

Get connected

Provisioning, hardware, configuration, and the call to your existing provider if you’re switching. 1–14 business days for NBN, longer for fibre builds.

Common questions.

Why do I need to sign up before I get a quote?

Because every site is different. Two offices on the same street can have completely different NBN technology, different fibre availability, different speed limits. We qualify your actual address inside the portal — takes seconds once you’re logged in — then build a real quote around it. Signup is free, takes two minutes, no payment details, no contract.

How much does it cost?

We custom-quote every site. The same plan label can cost wildly different things depending on what’s actually available at your address and what network design you need around it. Send us your current invoice and we’ll come back with a real number — not a brochure price.

Why aren’t prices published?

A published price would be misleading more often than not. The same plan label can cost very different things depending on what’s actually available at your address, the hardware and network design your site needs, and whether you’re bundling voice. Rather than advertise a number that won’t apply to you, we quote your actual setup — send us your current invoice and we’ll come back with a real, like-for-like figure, usually within a business day.

Is there a lock-in contract?

NBN broadband is month-to-month — no lock-in. Business Fibre and Dedicated Ethernet are different: they involve building or reserving dedicated infrastructure for your site, so those services carry a contract term. We set the term out clearly in your proposal before you commit — no surprises.

Can you actually match the cheap providers on price?

Yes — we’re highly competitive on price. Send us a like-for-like quote and we’ll come back with a number that stacks up. The bigger question is what you’re getting beyond the price. Anyone can resell a fibre tail. Try ringing them at 7pm when something breaks.

Do I need new hardware?

Sometimes. If your existing router can carry the speed and features you need (VPN, VLAN, failover), we keep it. If not, we recommend and supply business-grade gear at fair pricing — no surprise upcharges later.

What if I have multiple sites?

That’s our specialty. Multi-site VPN mesh, SD-WAN, MPLS-style routing — designed and managed end-to-end. One quote for the whole network, not one per site.

Can I bundle voice + data?

Yes. CloudPBX runs on our own voice platform, separate from your data path so they don’t compete. Bundled pricing is sharper than buying them separately, and one provider means one support team when anything’s off.

Do you provide an SLA?

Yes — Enhanced SLA options including 4-hour business-hours restore, or 24/7 options up to 4-hour any-time. Detailed in your proposal.

What if my building doesn’t have fibre?

We have access to every NBN technology (FTTP, FTTC, FTTN, FTTB, HFC, fixed wireless), business fibre where it’s lit, and dedicated ethernet builds where the numbers work. We tell you the real options at your address, not a generic brochure.

How long does switching take?

Most NBN cutovers complete in 1–14 business days. Business fibre and ethernet builds take 30–90 days where new infrastructure is involved. We project-manage the cutover and the conversation with your current provider — you keep working.
